Washington Taekwondo has Childrens Martial Arts classes available. Taekwondo Juniors has a range of classes designed for 7-11 years old.
Childrens martial arts
At the Junior 7-11 year old classes your child will learn a wide range of martial arts movements. From Starting at a beginner white belt level they begin their journey to a black belt.
During this journey they will discover the range of martial arts movements from basics blocks, kicks and strikes. to the more advances movements such as jump kicks, spin kick & flying kicks (yes we teach your child to fly).
At such a crucial development age we concentrate on Self Confidence, body development and positive mindset. We aim to ensure these Junior have the mindset that will empower them in to the teenage years.
Children Marial Arts activities are not only for their own development but to also ensure they have the self defence skills available for school life.

Developing Champions for life for Children
Along side their training they are also able to take part in the Champions for Life programme that is designed to build habits in your children so they have essential life skills for life. Ever other month they are tasked and given a worksheet to provide examples of where they have show a particular life skills such as Respect, Concentration, Teamwork & Communication. After each worksheet is compelted they are rewarded for all their hard work
